Hello, dear readers; it is I, Tom. It’s been a while, hasn’t it? I wanted to update you on the lack of blogs and podcasts these last few weeks and what in the world is going on.

I knew this would happen eventually, and I give myself some credit for keeping our site going at least semi-consistently for as long as I have. But I’ve finally reached the point where I need to screeeeeech the brakes on YOB – at least the public-facing content side of YOB.

YOB is evolving even now as I type these words. I liken us to a Charmeleon ready to sprout some mighty Charizard wings. But in order to do that effectively, in order to soar, we need to shut down for a while.

Soon, a new construction site will replace our current blog. We won’t be blogging during this construction, just as we haven’t for a little while now, and all of our blogs and podcasts will be inaccessible here. I have no idea how long this construction site will be up. Hopefully no longer than a couple weeks, but I do not know for certain.

While the construction site is up, I encourage you (if you’ve not already done so!) to subscribe to our podcast network on your app of choice. We’re on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, and our hosting provider Podbean, among many others. I intend to release at least one update podcast in the coming weeks with a more definite timeline.

You can also follow YOB on Facebook and Instagram for more details as they come.

We’re finally doing it, y’all! We’re birthing a Your Other Sisters community as YOS and YOB come together under a brand new organization.

I’ve already shot some new website welcome videos with Erin of YOS, and our new websites (plural!) are coming along beautifully. I can’t wait to share more soon.

My energy has shifted entirely away from blogging and podcasting to organization-building – not necessarily my cup of tea, but a necessary part of the “fun” process. I hope to return to old-yet-new form again soon. Your prayers are appreciated as we undergo this organizational and website transition!

It’s hard to believe Your Other Brothers started as a little blog back in 2015 – ten years ago now. I see God’s fingerprints all over this website, and in all of our members and contributors. Our beautiful messy stories.

God willing, our story turns a page and hits a new chapter, or an entirely new saga soon…
